A unique piece manufactured for Major General Albert E. Milloy while serving as commander of the 24^th Corps in Vietnam. Typically associated with Air Force pilots, party suits were strictly used for off duty activities and recreation.

Milloy commanded the 1^st Infantry Division from August 1969 to April 1970. He then took command of the 23^rd Infantry Division and finally the 24^th Corps. This lineage of command is indicated through the array of insignia on the suit. Wreathed 1^st Infantry Division insignia indicating membership in the Society of the First Division, 23^rd Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia on the right arm, and 24^th Corps insignia on the right breast.
