Type 56 Ammunition Pouch

This canvas chest rig was used by soldiers in the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) to carry spare magazines. The NVA was a more conventional fighting force than the Viet Cong. NVA soldiers had the advantage of traditional military training and supplies of equipment from North Vietnam.
